About this site

Welcome to our new redesigned website. You may stroll around, take any ways you want and we hope that you will find a place to rest and free your mind. Our aim is not to put a complete archive on line but a quality source of information about Derroll’s aspects of life and his multiple facets of interests. Thank you to Rebecca Adams, Marc Bruynseraede, Kris De Meyer, Walter De Peuter, Sophie Devaert, Patrick Ferryn, Anne & Alain Fournier, Josée Heylen, Françoise Hivelin, Dirk Lefebvre, Jef Van Gool, Jean-Pierre Van Weyenbergh, Sylvia Verschueren, Gilles Vignal, Kai Willems, Robert Wylie and last but not least Jean Leroy.

Wherever possible we have attempted to identify individual photographers and to ask permission to display their photographs. Thanks to all those who have agreed. If your photograph is here and either it's uncredited or you wish us to remove it, please contact us. Many pages on this website contain small clickable images surrounded by a thin frame, and clicking on the thumbnail will display the actual size of the image.

All efforts have been made to make this web site accessible for all users using Macintosh, iPad and Windows platforms with JavaScript enabled. You should get an optimal image with a minimal resolution of 1280 x 1024 or 1440 x 852 pixels depending on the format of your screen. For sake of compatibility the site was tried on the latest version of the following browsers:

Anyway we don’t recommend older version of Internet Explorer for surfing the web. This is because:

  • It is insecure. Many exploits were discovered in it so far, and more are constantly discovered.
  • It lags behind other browsers in standards-compliance and so prevents web designers from using some very nice tricks in their pages. Some of this is caused by the many bugs it has.
  • It does not have many of the usability features that more modern browsers like Firefox, Safari, or Chrome. Use a different browser for a while and you wouldn’t want to switch back.

Contact: complaints, remarks and suggestions concerning the web site structure and layout can be forwarded to Danny Adams.
